RENÉE LEVASSEUR
Biography
Renée Levasseur, graduate of RIT (2020), earning her MFA in 2D animation and pursuing a career in background painting and storyboarding. Previously a graduate of the University of Maine, Orono, earned her BFA in English and Fine Arts in 2016. Concentrating on Figure Drawing, she also has experience in Painting, particularly with water-based oils, and Digital Art with Photoshop and Illustrator. Born and raised in rural Maine, used her spare time between work and farming to experiment with her creativity.
She finds Digital Art exciting to experiment with, and combining it with her other interests, such as Drawing and Creative Writing. Also an avid writer, putting into words what can’t be adequately told visually. Has entered short stories into journals and competitions, and is currently working on a novel, based on a series of artwork.
Currently employed as a Graphic Artist at W.S. Emerson.
Her favorite food is Lyonnaise Potatoes.
